- To optimize use of borewell / tubewell by lifting maximum possible water by untapped energy generated while playing. See-Saw pump lifts water and stores it in an overhead tank.
- To improve the health of children, by providing them an opportunity to play and enjoy, as in most of rural schools there is no recreation and no hygienic drinking water.
- To increase the literacy rate in rural masses by attracting children towards schools by installing See-Saw pumps.
- To improve the sanitation facilities by providing ample water. This facilities construction of toilets in the school, to Improve sanitation and toilet facilities.
- To facilitate lifting of water at elevation without electricity so that water can be distributes through pipe lines for sanitation, drinking and kitchen in the hostels of the schools.
- Purification devices can be installed easily when water is lifted to elevated tanks, which has inlet pressure.
- To ease maintenance by any local hand pump mechanic.

- See-Saw pump has been developed by attaching See-Saw device to mechanism of pumps for lifting water to overhead tank, from borewell / tubewell or rainwater collection tank.
