Mini Water Supply Scheme With Force Lift Handpumps For Public Toilets

 

Force Lift Handpump designed by us is very much useful for supply of water for cleaning purpose of the public toilets in urban/rural areas.

The scheme envisages intallation of force lift handpump up to a maximum depth of 90 metres on the existing/already drilled bore holes.

The water available through handpump is a stored in a storage tank, installed about 6 meters (20 ft) above ground-level.

        

 

 

The Salient Features Of Scheme Are As Follows :-

  • Force Lift pumps are suitable for 100/125/150 mm diameter bore wells with maximum static water levels up to 80 metres and depth 90 metres.
  • The Discharge from force lift pumps is 10/15 litres/minute i.e 600/900 litres/hour approx.
  • Water could be lifted upto 6 metres (20 ft) above the ground level. This is the most significant advantage of the force lift hand pump.
  • Low Capital and repairs/maintence cost.
  • The scheme is very effective in the areas where no electric supply is available
